Book: RTFM - Red Team Field Manual

I came across this book a few weeks, ago, and heard so many good things about it, that I ordered it. It turns out to be really great, it's a ~90 page collection of pure commands, syntax, tables (e.g.: subnets, ASCII table, user agents, etc....), tips and tricks, some basic scripts, and literally anything related to pentesting. It comes really handy especially if you run into a case when you don't have Internet access.

Probably the best 9$ I ever spent, I really recommend it to everyone. :-)

Book: Backtrack 5 Cookbook

It has a been a while when I last wrote about books. Here is another one I found recently, which is about Backtrack: Backtrack 5 cookbook. It has been published by Packt Publishing (as the other ones :)). Now you can purchase it in ebook format as well - both mobi and epub. (I don't consider PDF as an ebook format)

I don't have it, and haven't read it, but looks promising based on the contents.

I swear I don't get money from the publisher, but others don't publish such books. :-) Another interesting book have been released by PacktPub about Backtrack:

I won't write such topics frequently :-) but an interesting book have been released recently at PacketPub:

Based on the table of contents it goes through many of the tools found in Backtrack, and there is a chapter about the pentesting methodology. There aren't so many other books like this in my opinion.
